location was near "old town"
NO parking near the hotel, closest was 1 km away, and no dropoff area for luggage. Hotel staff pushed their tours and made statements not true, like "no parking at the salt mine". There was plenty of parking once we visited the mine. Rates for tours and other hotel rate was significantly higher than other locations in Kracow. Rates did not include breakfast, other hotels included breakfast and were lower priced for same level of hotel quality. Trip cut short due to not being satisfied with hotel..... And, booked with another hotel.
Location to Square, train and bus stations
Only one (BBC) of the two english speaking television stations was. Available
I liked the staff willingness to help (fixing room temperature, helping with the luggage). Design is nice too, in spite of some kitch aspects. Location is beautiful (historic city center, but quiet).
Room temperature was not previously checked and too low (staff argued that the previous tourists where scandinavian...). Breakfast a bit overpriced.
The location of the hotel in the old town of Krakow and the friendliness of the staff.
A minor point but it did get hot in the room, there was a fan and one could open the window.
The location was excellent
The number of nightclubs, pubs in the city centre is a huge problem as the noise all night severely restricts sleeping. When you close the windows it is better however as there is no airconditioning it is not possible to do this.
Very well placed next to central Plaza and most of historic buildings, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast excellent
The location is excellent. We could walk everywhere and there were loads of excellent restaurants around the hotel. The hotel was very clean and the en-suite bathroom was lovely.
The bedrooms were dark & old-fashioned, so we did not like the style. This would not totally put me off going back because of the good points, but was very disappointing on our arrival. The lights did not even brighten the room up as they were low wattage.
Convenience of hotel to family living on Florianska.
Breakfast charges were exorbitant and we didn't get any cheaper rate for children. 50 PLN for an adult's buffet is steep but for a child's buffet breakfast is ridiculous.
perfect location.classic desing of the begining of 20 century.
room #204 was cold, perhaps due to two balcony doors inside the room. room #304 we changed was ok. no wireless internet avilable in the hotel. instead you get an old cable whith damaged plugs, as a result internet connection drops if you touch the cable. the hotel badly needs renovation. the staff rejected late check-out on sunday even knowing that we are honeymoon travellers.
Good location, nice room, interesting design.
staff very pleasant. great location. bath water was lovely and hot! I thought that the hotel was very flexable agreeing they would defer our booking without incurring extra charge if our flight was cancelled by the snow in Dublin.
Strange to say but it was too hot in our bedroom and we could not adjust the radiator.
Location excellent. Walking distance of main square and convenient for shopping, dining out and night life. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Very comfortable bed, warm duvet and suite was really nice and spacious. The heating overall was very much appreciated as it was minus 19 outside at nighttime. It is rather old fashioned in furnishings but I liked that. Loved the spacious bathroom and appreciated the robe that was provided. For 2 nights the room rate was very reasonable.
Breakfast was not included in room rate.
This hotel is ideally situated to exxplore all that Krakow has to offer. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is very clean.
The only complaint was that we had booked room only, and to upgrade to breakast was around twelve pounds each which was extortionate for what was one offer
Thehotel is perfectlysituated within easy walking distance from the train station and the old town and the shops. It'a an old hotel so is a bit quirky which adds character. Clean and comfortable.
The staff do try to push their tours a bit too much which got to be annoying. Breakfast seemed overpriced so we opted out.
Very well located for walking sightseeing and comfortable
